Kim Kardashian's bodyguard touches her bum at the Forbes Women's Summit as she opens up about online criticisms (Photos)

Kim Kardashian who is rated the 47th world's highest-paid celebrity of 2017 by Forbes, was one of the many influential women who spoke at the fifth annual Forbes event on Tuesday.

Mrs West attended the event with her bodyguard, who made sure she is well guarded from behind by touching her bum several times as he opened doors for her.

Lets hope Kanye West approves of this kind of protection.

Meanwhile, Kim's speech at the event was billed as 'Evolving the Empire: Kim Kardashian West on Reigning Supreme.'

She revealed that she is currently focused on four things: her Kimojis, children's clothing range, her newly announced makeup line and fragrance.

Also the reality TV star, who gives off the airs of one who is tough and has a thick skin admitted that negative criticisms affects her as much as everyone during an interview with The Associated Press on Tuesday, just before taking the stage at the Forbes event.

With over 180 million followers of Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter combined, it is only normal that there will be a few trolls among them dropping hateful comments and Kim acknowledged these people but admitted that it sometimes gets to her.

She said: "Absolutely it affects me... there could be one or two negative comments that really do affect you, and get to you. You know I'm human just like everyone else. Like things do hurt my feelings, but I think that I do have a really thick skin."

She continued: "They have this keyboard courage that no one will see them and they will just write whatever and hurt your feelings. I know I can handle it, but I just fear for — I do see why young kids and people and teenagers, even get ... so hurt and bothered. That is what really bothers me."

Kim handles the bullies by sometimes turning the hateful comments around and using it to the best of her abilities. For instance, when she was featured on the cover of Forbes Magazine last year and some people tried to be mean, she responded by addressing the criticisms in a tweet. She recalled that incident during the interview.

"We've built this brand, and I'm so proud of it. For everyone saying I have no talent, you know, I think I wrote, 'Not bad for a girl with no talent,'" she said in reference to the tweet she posted last year following criticisms of her Forbes cover.

The mother-of-two also spoke about the mistakes she's made during the course of her career. She acknowledged them but expressed hopes that her success story will serve as an inspiration to others, especially young girls.

"I obviously have made my fair share of mistakes like everyone else, but I hope to never repeat those mistakes, and just learn from what I've done," she said. "So if people, or young girls, or kids can look up to just someone that works really hard, and focuses on really what I want, and makes that happen, then you know I hope that inspires them."

The entrepreneur credited her late father, Robert Kardashian, for the lessons she learnt from him which has helped her build bonds that allow her to draw strength from her family in dealing with online negativity.

"We've always been a close family, but I think with everything that we go through, I think it brings us closer and closer," she said. "We're the only ones that really understand what it's like. You can report about it, you can talk about, but no one has really been through it, unless you are going through it with us. And luckily, we have each other. I don't know where most of us would be if we didn't have each other to vent to, to lean on, so I think we've been really blessed with a big family that all have the same core values."

Kim also spoke about the much publicised armed robbery attack she suffered in Paris and admitted that the experience changed her life in the sense that she is now more security conscious and no longer posts photos until she's returned from the event.
