Stop running abroad when you are sick - Jude Okoye also slams FG over plan to ban shooting of music videos abroad

The plans by the Federal Government to ban the shooting of music videos, movies outside Nigeria, is generating reactions from stakeholders in the entertainment industry.

Minister of Information, Lai Mohammed had on Saturday said the government is working towards putting an end to the trend.

Peter Okoye of PSquare had earlier slammed the decision, saying Nigerian artistes have been the ones covering the “shame” politicians “bring upon the country”.

Now his elder brother and Music Executive, Jude Okoye, has also taken to his Instagram page to slam the Federal government over the plans.

 He wrote
"Smh. An industry they NEVER encouraged, supported or empowered is what they now want to control. Let all of you stop running to abroad when you are sick as na naija money una dey use patronize oyibo hospital dem. You people are the ones refusing to fix our health facilities so u travel out when mosquito bite una. So why tell us where to record when u can't provide uninterrupted power here in Nigeria. Sometime I wonder how we got it all wrong. Una children when dey sch for abroad na which money una dey use patronize them? Abeg stfu!".
I bet we'll see more reactions from guys in the Nigerian Entertainment industry.
