“I have seen it all, I want to die and have some rest" kidnapper, Evans says as he reveals he has Colon Cancer

While his wife is begging for mercy, the kidnap kingpin, Evans, asks to end his life, as he knows the police won’t be fair to him.

Evans said he has been diagnosed with colon cancer and it would soon consume him.

In an interview with Vanguard, Evans begged the government to take care of his children and not let them end like their father.

“What am I living for? When I saw the policemen dash towards me I ran inside. I was not running to escape,” he said.

“I ran to see if I could end it before they could take me. But time was short. They followed me into the room.

“I have seen it all, I want to die and have some rest. The only thing I want now is for the government to take care of my children, educate them and don’t allow them to become criminals.

“I have begged Abba Kyari, to do this for me and he assured me that the Lagos State government would take them to an orphanage home where they would grow to become better persons in the society.

“I have been diagnosed with Colon Cancer and I wish I could die now.”

Evans, has also led a team of Policemen from the Federal Anti-kidnapping Unit to detention camps for people he abducted.
He took operatives to the locations at the weekend, Daily Post reports.

The separate buildings, located in Igando and Ikotun in Lagos, were the hideouts his captives were kept.

Police say they will provide an update on what was discovered at the buildings in the course of the week.

Six members of his gang have also been arrested.
