Jury in Bill Cosby’s sexual assault case “deadlocked" after 4 days

Four days after getting the case, deadlocked jurors in Bill Cosby’s sexual assault trial struggled to end their impasse after four days on charges he drugged and molested a woman in 2004, and the judge has directed them to keep talking.

We cannot come to a unanimous consensus on any of the counts“, the foreman of the 12-man jury at veteran comedian, Bill Cosby’s sexual assault trial said on Thursday.

The reaction in the courtroom was flat as prosecutors and defense attorneys were motionless.

Cosby who is facing charges for allegedly drugging and sexually assaulting a lady, Andrea Constand in his home in 2004 has not pleaded guilty and has testified in the trial.

The jury resumed their work on Friday.

As the jury entered 40 hours of deliberations, Cosby’s spokesperson Andrew Wyant said, “we’re in the 40th hour, all we’re asking for is to put an end to it right now.
