Yet again! Wema Bank accused of 'stealing' photos for commercial purposes

For the second time this week, Wema Bank Plc has been accused of 'stealing' photos for commercial purposes.

Just few days ago, Nigerian model, Nneoma Anosike, dragged the bank to court, accusing it of using her photos for commercial purposes without her consent. She demanded the bank pay her N97 million for allegedly passing off her services and breach of her privacy by advertising her private correspondence.

And now, a Twitter user @letasobierajski has accused Wema Bank of copying a photo shoot and using the same pose to promote one of its products.

The “Independent Graphic Designer & Art Director” posted two photos on her page and wrote: “Hey @alat_ng @wemabank what gives? You copied my shoot pose for pose.”
