APC members protest in Lagos, demand Muiz Banire’s removal (Photos)

Members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Mushin, Lagos on Tuesday, marched to the Lagos State House of Assembly in Alausa, Ikeja, demanding the expulsion of the party’s National Legal Adviser, Muiz Banire (SAN).

Some of the placards carried by the protesters read, ‘serial traitor’, ‘Banire must go’.

Banire had earlier alleged that he has been receiving threat messages over his fight against imposition of candidates in the party in Lagos.

He said the leadership of the party in Lagos was not allowing popular candidates to represent the APC in Saturday’s local government election.

He also said that Seyi Oladejo, a commissioner in the state, had concluded plans to mobilise a rally against him for his principled stance.
