On Thursday, the President of Namibia received Ambassador Lilian Onoh as Nigeria’s ambassador and High Commissioner to the Republic of Namibia.

Lilian Onoh, who is a career diplomat, is the daughter of Christian Chukwuma Onoh - CC Onoh, former governor of Old Anambra State. Prior to this engagement, she had been Nigeria’s Acting High Commissioner to Jamaica.

Her elder sister, Bianca Ojukwu, Nigeria's immediate past ambassador to Spain, was present at the presentation ceremony at the State House. Windhoek.

This is the first time in Nigeria's history that two sisters have become ambassadors and more remarkably, under two different administrations.
