#FIFAU17WC: England thrash Spain 5-2 to win 2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup

England's Young Lions made a remarkable comeback from two goals down to beat Spain 5-2 and win the 2017 FIF Under-17 World Cup Final in India.

Spain took the lead after 10 minutes, and were two up on the half-hour mark to leave England in real trouble in Kolkata.

England's Rhian Brewster has been the star of the tournament with consecutive hat-tricks in the quarter- and semi-finals, and headed home to give England a lifeline a minute before the interval.

That goal sowed doubt in Spanish minds, with England equalising in the 58 minutes.

England had the momentum after drawing level, and Phil Foden put them in front after a fine cross from Chelsea youngster Callum Hudson-Odoi.

Spain searched for a route back into the game, but another Chelsea youngster - Marc Guehi - found the net after a goalmouth scramble before Foden added his second of the game to seal a stunning victory for the Young Lions.

The trophy caps a remarkable calendar year for England's youth teams, who have won the Under-19 European Championship, Under-20s World Cup, Toulon Tournament (U20s) and reached the Under-21 European Championship in 2017.
