Kachikwu & Baru 'bury their feud' as they meet at the Nigerian Economic Summit in Abuja (Photos)

While some people are still cracking their heads and arguing over who is wrong or right over a leaked memo, Minister of state for Petroleum Resources, Ibe Kachikwu and the Group Managing Director of NNPC, Maikanti Baru pictured exchanging pleasantries at the Nigerian Economic Summit in Abuja on Tuesday.

They had discussions on the opportunities in the oil sector at the Energy Policy Committee breakout session at the summit.

Kachikwu and Baru are at loggerheads after the former in a petition written to President Buhari, accused the latter of insubordination and awarding contracts without due process.

In reaction, Baru in a statement said he is under no obligation to discuss contract matters with Kachikwu.

Last Friday, Kachikwu had a closed-door meeting with President Buhari. He, however, refused to disclose the outcome of the meeting. The presidency is yet to react to the development.
