#NGAZAM: Alexi Iwobi's goal takes Nigeria to FIFA World Cup as Super Eagles beat Zambia 1-0 (Video)

The Super Eagles of Nigeria defeated Chipolopolo of Zambia to become the first African team to qualify for the 2018 FIFA World up in Russia.

The first half ended goalless with Ogenyi Onazi leaving the field injured, Mikel Agu replacing him in the 30th minute, and got a booking in the 35th minute.

The complexion of the game changed when the first goal came in the 73rd minute by the substitute, Alex Iwobi, who came in the 66th minute to replace William Troost-Ekong.

The lone goal was taken to the end of the match.

Nigeria, therefore, qualifies to the world cup with still one match to play against Algeria.
