Benue women bare their breasts in support of the anti-open grazing law (Viewers discretion)

No fewer than 2000 women in Benue State staged protest on the streets of Makurdi, Benue state, in support of the newly enacted anti-open grazing law of the state.

Some elderly women among them protested topless.

The state government on Wednesday implemented the law that bans herdsmen from indiscriminate grazing in the state. The herdsmen have however vowed to resist the law.

Many lives have been lost in the state and properties destroyed following series of clash between community members and herdsmen after the cows managed by the herdsmen destroyed the farmlands of some community members.

The Fulani herdsmen have also been attacking many communities across the country, killing scores.
