'Kwara United coach slaps Katsina United's coach after NPFL clash'

Things reportedly turned nasty in the Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL) over the weekend as Kwara United head coach, Maji Mohammed landed his counterpart in Katsina United, Abdulahi Biffo a resounding slap after their game.

According to a Facebook user, Niyi Busari, who shared an eyewitness report, trouble started when Kwara United defender handed the ball in his own 18-yard box, but the referee pointed to the corner flag that it was corner-kick.




He said the Katsina Utd captain complained that it was a penalty and not a corner kick, but the referee failed to overturn his decision.

However, after the final whistle in the game which ended 2 - 1 in favour of the Kwara United team, the Katsina United coach was said to have rushed to the field to order his players into the dressing room in other to maintain their calm.

But it became messier as fight ensued between the two coaches, and Biffo was landed a hot slap by Mohammed during the clash.
