"I said Jubril is an impostor, not a clone" - Nnamdi Kanu replies Buhari

The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, has responded to President Muhammadu Buhari's statement that he was not cloned.

President Buhari had on Sunday in Poland responded to speculations that he's dead and been cloned.

Buhari while speaking in Krakow, during an interactive session with the Nigerian community in the country, said those who felt he had died during his medical vacation in the UK in 2017, asked Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo to make them his deputy.

The president in a video posted on Twitter said his deputy, Osinbajo “received a lot of embarrassment”.

Buhari said “One of the questions that came up today in my meeting with Nigerians in Poland was on the issue of whether I‘ve been cloned or not,” he said.

“The ignorant rumours are not surprising. When I was away on medical vacation last year, a lot of people hoped I was dead.

“Poor Professor Yemi Osinbajo, even he had to deal with the rumours. Some people reached out to him to consider them to be his vice-president because they assumed I was dead. That embarrassed him a lot; we discussed it when he visited me while I was convalescing.”

Buhari was also optimistic on celebrating his birthday; he will be 76 years old on December 17, 2018.

"A lot of people hoped that I died during my ill health. It is real me... I will soon celebrate my 76th birthday and I will still go strong,” he added.

However, reacting to Buhari's statement, Nnamdi Kanu, who has been one of those championing the allegations, said the Nigerian President was not cloned but an impostor of  'Jubril Aminu Al-Sudani"

He wrote on Twitter:
"I said Jubril is an impostor, not a clone. Fulani cabal should stop their dirty diversionary tactics. You need not be an Einstein or a native doctor to know the man in Poland is not Buhari. All you need is common sense, ability to reason and a functioning eyesight."
