Omotola asks women who have been sexually abused by COZA pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo to speak out

Nollywood star, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, has urged other women who has been sexually abused by  pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo of the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA to speak up.

The filmmaker and actress was reacting to the rape allegations leveled against the pastor by Busola Dakolo, a celebrity photographer and wife of popular singer, Timi Dakolo.

Busola had in an explosive interview with YNaija, accused senior pastor Fatoyinbo, of raping her as a teenager.

She Busola said the incident happened when she was 16 in the Divine Delight Club, the precursor to Fatoyinbo’s COZA.

She also disclosed that he raped her a second time on her way back from his house where she had gone to help his wife with domestic chores.

This is not the first time that the pastor has been accused of rape or having sexual encounters with church members.

The most prominent was the Ese Walter scandal in 2013. Ese shared her experience on a self-named blog, which has now been deleted.

A few weeks ago, Fatoyinbo was in the news again when another church member made public her affair with him. There are also reports that some of his sexual assault victims are men.

Reacting to the trending interview via her weekly #Osexyfriday on Twitter, Omotola kicked against people who attempt to shame or silence victims of rape.
