Lonely British woman marries her Dog after dating over 200 men (Photos, video)

After dating over 200 men for years and browsing through dating sites with no luck, this woman decided to tie the knot with her Dog - saying “I found the one and I love him.”

Former UK model Elizabeth Hoad, 49, went on live television Tuesday in the UK to wed her 6-year-old golden retriever, Logan.

New York Post reports that Elizabeth was a swimsuit model in the ’80s and had relationships with stars the likes of golfer Seve Ballesteros and Formula One driver James Hunt.

But after a slew of unsuccessful dates over the years — some 221, she recalls — and giving birth to a son, now 25, she decided the only man she could count on was her loyal Dog.

Hoad and her lucky pup appeared on British morning talk show “This Morning” to say “I do” live in front of thousands of viewers.

“All that I have in my doggy treat cupboard I promise to give to you,” says Hoad, who was joined by British broadcasters Ruth and Eamonn Holmes, with “This Morning” host Alison Hammond officiating and past “Love Island” UK winner Kem Cetinay as best man.

Hoad wore a modest knee-length, long-sleeved white dress and an oversized white rose fascinator. Logan sported a tuxedo tailored for dogs. They even had wedding bands — her a ring and the handsome pooch a dog-sized bracelet.
After Hoad said, “I do,” officiant Hammond waited briefly for Logan’s response before taking his lack of protest as a “yes.”

“He doesn’t seem too excited!” Hoad joked.

It’s been a whirlwind romance for the pair: Hoad rescued Logan just a year ago.

“He had a traumatic first four years being locked and beaten in a utility cupboard,” she says. “He’s saved me and I’ve saved him. I was a broken woman when my last dog died.”

After being “unlucky in love,” she says she’d “given up” on finding the one.

“I tried every app – MillionaireMatch, Tinder, but it don’t have any luck. Maybe it’s me?” she asked herself.

She lamented to her hosts that “older men [want] the younger woman and vice versa,” but added that respect for her son has prevented her from dating younger men: “I’ve had younger men asking me out but it’s just not right.”

A brief relationship with a man she met online — who turned out to be married — was the last straw for Hoad. That’s when marrying her dog started to sound more and more like a viable option.

“After that my friends who previously joked about marrying Logan, my dog, became more serious, and I thought, ‘Why not?’ “
