WikiLeaks’ Assange arrested in London after Ecuador revoked his asylum status

British police arrested WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange at the Ecuadorian embassy in London on Thursday.

Ecuador had stripped Assange of his asylum status after seven years of being a guest at the London embassy of the South American nation.

Coup-plotters arrest Sudan President, Omar al-Bashir, announce two-year military rule

Omar al-Bashir, Sudanese President for 30 years, has been arrested, Defence Minister Awad Mohamed Ahmed Ibn Auf has confirmed.

Addressing the Sudanese people on Thursday afternoon, Ibn Auf said al-Bashir, who is wanted for war crimes by the International Criminal Court (CC), had been “taken into custody in a safe place”.

The Independent National Electoral Commission, on Tuesday, said that the governorship elections in Kogi and Bayelsa States would hold on November 2nd 2019.

The Lagos State Fire Service Director, Rasaki Musibau and over five other persons have been kidnapped along the Epe-Itokin road, Ikorodu.

Police spokesperson, Elkanah Bala confirmed the development to Channels Television, saying Kidnappers on Saturday night whisked away the individuals to a yet to be known location.

Couple accused of killing their baby after arguing about lack of sex because he was awake

A young couple are facing trial for allegedly killing their baby following an argument about not having sex, due to their newborn child.

Metro UK reports that, Luke Morgan, 26, and Emma Cole, 22, are accused of smothering their two months-old son, Tyler Morgan, and causing him three broken ribs after being heard arguing at their flat in Burntwood, Staffs in 2014.
